Candles and market data
How candles are built, supported resolutions and the TradingView datafeed.
Candles come from this venue's own trades
Candles are aggregated from fills on this venue by the indexer. They are not copied from another exchange. As a result:
- A market with no trades yet has no candles. The app's chart shows No trades yet in that case.
- Only periods that actually traded are returned. Periods without trades are not forward-filled.
- Prices and volumes are exact decimal strings.
GET /last-traded-tradingview/history(see TradingView datafeed) returns them as JSON numbers instead.
Resolutions
Supported values for resolution: 1, 5, 15, 30, 60, 120, 240, 1D, 1W, 1M.
Numbers are minutes. 1D, 1W and 1M mean one day, one week and one month. One minute is 1, not 1M. The aliases D/d/1d, W/w/1w and M are also accepted. Unrecognised values return 400.

One request returns at most 5000 bars. Use countback (or a from close to to) to get the most recent bars: without either, you get up to 5000 bars from the start of the market's history.
Each bar covers its whole period. When from or to falls inside a bar, that bar is still built from all of its trades, never from part of them.
TradingView datafeed
GET /last-traded-tradingview/config and GET /last-traded-tradingview/history serve the same candles in the TradingView UDF format.
Live updates
Subscribe to candles:{MARKET}:{RESOLUTION} on the WebSocket API. You receive a snapshot first, then updates as trades happen.
