Referral service on Arc Testnet: Available
The app describes the programme as:
Boost your earnings and savings with RealTime Exchange's referral program! Refer traders and earn 10% of their trading fees. Each referred trader also receives a 10% discount on trading fees for 6 months.
The exact discount a referred trader receives is shown to them when they sign up with your code. Reward terms are set by the referral service, not by this documentation. Referral rewards can't be viewed or claimed in the app: the page shows the traders you referred and their volume.
Share your link or a code
Open Referrals from the header, go to Portfolio → Referrals, or press G then R.
- Your link: once you've signed in, the page shows your personal link, ending in
/r/and your username. Edit the username (up to 32 characters) and copy the link. Usernames must be unique; if one is taken you see Username already taken. A toast confirms Referral link copied. - Codes: under Your Referral Codes, create up to 20 codes. Enter a custom code, or leave it blank and generate one; you can add a label. Copy a code's link (
/r/<code>) or delete the code. With no codes yet you see No referral codes yet. Create one to start sharing..
Before sharing a copied link, paste it somewhere and check that it starts with the app's address, https://arc-testnet.realtime.exchange. The link shown on the page is the one to share.
When someone uses your link
Opening a link ending in /r/<code> saves the code in their browser and takes them to the app. Once they connect a wallet, the app checks the code and, if it can be used, opens the sign-in step. The code is applied when they complete sign-in, and the app confirms their discount.
A code can't be applied when it doesn't exist (Invalid Referral Code), when it is the person's own code, or when their account is not new (Referral Not Applicable): only new accounts can be referred.
Track results
The page shows Traders Referred and the volume of your referees, and a referral history table listing each referred trader, the date they joined and their volume.
