Charts and order book
Read the price chart, depth and funding charts, the order book, recent trades and the market header.
Price chart
The chart draws candles from this exchange's own trades, not prices copied from another venue.
- Timeframes: 1m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 4h, 1D, 1W, 1M. The default is 15m, and the app remembers your last choice.
- Tools: drawing tools and indicators come from the TradingView charting library. Your position, open orders and liquidation price are drawn on the chart.
- Empty market: a market that has never traded shows No trades yet. Candles appear after the first fill.
- Load failure: if the chart can't load its data it shows Chart data unavailable. Reload the page.
Above the chart, the tabs switch between Price, Depth (cumulative order-book depth) and Funding (perpetuals only). The funding chart shows the rate per hour, per 8 hours or annualised. Funding accrues continuously and is quoted per hour. See Funding.
Order book
The Orderbook panel lists resting buy orders (bids) and sell orders (asks), with price, size and running total.
- The layout menu switches between a tabbed view (the default), a stacked view and a large book.
- Grouping merges nearby prices, in multiples of the tick size.
- The unit toggle shows sizes in the asset or in USD.
- The middle row shows the last trade price, the mid price and the spread.
- Clicking a price fills it into the order form as a limit price. On mobile, tapping a price also opens the order form with the matching side selected.
The trades tab lists recent fills with price, size and time.
Market header
Across the top of the trading page:
| Stat | The app's explanation |
|---|---|
| Mark Price | The fair price used to compute unrealized PnL and to evaluate liquidations. Derived from the Index Price plus a funding-basis component — not the last traded price — to prevent manipulation through thin liquidity. |
| Index Price | The reference spot price, read from an external feed (Binance, with CoinGecko, Hyperliquid and the on-chain oracle as fallbacks). Not shown for spot. |
| 24h Change | Percentage change in the Mark Price over the last 24 hours. |
| 1h Funding Rate | Payment exchanged between longs and shorts to keep the perpetual price near the spot Index. Positive = longs pay shorts; negative = shorts pay longs. Quoted as a 1-hour rate: it accrues to your open position continuously (in real time), not in fixed 8h batches. The rate is recomputed on-chain from the live order-book premium about every 5 minutes, so it moves as the book moves. |
| Funding Rate Countdown | Funding accrues every hour — this counts down to the next hourly mark. The rate itself is re-derived from the live order book about every 5 minutes, so the value above can change before the countdown ends. |
| Open Interest | Total notional value of all open positions in this contract (longs and shorts combined). A rising OI alongside rising price typically signals new money entering the market. Hover it in the app to see long and short open interest. |
Spot markets show only mark price, 24h change and volume; index price and funding are also hidden for pre-launch markets. Volume stats appear only when the market has traded in the last 24 hours. Except for index price, these explanations are the app's own tooltips, quoted exactly.
The countdown marks the hourly rate period; funding itself accrues continuously.
